Intraocular Lens Options

Intraocular lenses correct refractive error as part of cataract surgery

Spinak Medical Eye Center offers both traditional and premium intraocular lens implants to correct vision as part of cataract surgery.

Cataract surgery is essentially lens replacement surgery where the cloudy natural lens of the eye, or cataract, is removed and replaced by an artificial lens called an intraocular lens (IOL). This is necessary since the natural lens in intimately tied to the focus of our eyes.

The exciting part about modern cataract surgery is the availability of different IOL options to allow you and your surgeon to develop a customized treatment plan.
